Waiting to dock in high winds on Quiberon
"Here's a map of the route - that's if we ever get off the boat!"

Animated Tricolour
The 2002 "Tour of Brittany" proved to be a fun weekend, even though things didn't quite go according to plan.
Strong NE winds made for a rough crossing. This combined with very high tides meant that MV Quiberon was unable to dock properly at Roscoff, attempts failed when a line snapped but luckily nobody was hurt!
By the time everyone disembarked 1.5 hours later we were all suffering from coffee poisoning!
The 200Km Seaboard was abandoned, with only 10 hours left ashore it was considered too risky to go for 125 miles and return in time!

Still waiting................
"More coffee anyone?"
Back on land at last!
Time to group up!...

....work out who's going which way...

...confirm that the sun really is shining..
..and off on the road to St.Pol de Leon.
Bright sunshine belies the bitter wind.
Leaving St.Pol

Mike Parker, John Misson, Dave Cully.
