Sunday 26th August 2001.

Jackie was leading the ride to Bellever near Postbridge.
Twenty odd gathered at the start at Kingskerswell, and the first leg was via Teigngrace to "The House of Marbles" at Bovey Tracey for coffee.

Next was the long climb up to Haytor. The chosen route was a gradual climb out of Bovey towards Brimley, followed by a steep but direct climb through Narracombe to the main road to Haytor.
Haytor looked majestic in swirling mists, as the group continued on down the fast descent into Widecombe.
