Assembling at the start - Kingskerswell.

The 2002 50 miles in 4 (or 5) hours Tourist Trial proved a poular event this year. A large crowd gathered at Kingskerswell on a sunny morning, but with a strong easterly breeze.

It was a rapid ride through the lanes to Newton Abbot, and up the Teign valley to Dunsford. Then the lumps started, over to Cheriton Bishop, - roller coaster to Yeoford, continuing on the narrow lanes into a stiff headwind towards Crediton.
